Concert Filled with of ART, MUSIC and DANCE in NYC 2009

       Inspired by artist Shanye Huang's paintings, New York based, well-known conductor and composer Silas Huff created a suite to accompany Huang's current work- the Tapestry of Dreams. The musical composition that resulted, "Chun Zhi Ge" (Spring Song Festival), is a 30-minute "dance symphony" comprised of Chinese folk melodies set to orchestra in a contemporary American fashion. It is being realized as a concert filled with art, music and dance. Its world premiere was shown in New York City on March 21, 2009, which was a great success.
